Is Money Making Your Primary Motive Behind Starting a Website?

When I built my first site in 2015, making money was not my primary motive. However, these days the primary motive behind creating a website is to make money. Once my website is ready, I apply for adsense. Upon approval, I started doing SEO and digital marketing to build traffic and revenue. I build blogs, forums, and online stores in the hope to make money. But not all sites will be making money for me.

Yesh I know for a fact that a lot of people start their website solely for money making than following the passion of writing or sharing information which is still not bad

It mainly depends on the individual. Most people create their website simply cause they want to make money, this is their primary reason. While there are others who do it cause they have a passion for it.

I made my first website to learn wordpress. Later was money making sites. Right now I have good project but done for CV. Maybe I will try my luck in IT sector so I must boost my CV.

Yes it about the motive of the individual. Most people create their website for money making as they want to make huge amount of money, this is their primary reason others do cause of passion

For now, i do not have a website. If i were to start one, then i guess the main motive behind it would be for making money. I would try to do it for passion too.

The truth is that people that start a website would be for making money. they create a website for money making I don't think they will do it for passion only

When I first started out creating and running forums, my main motive was not to make money from them but to do that because I enjoyed it.

I still enjoy creating and running forums at the moment but if I see an opportunity to make money from the forum then I will do so.

Money is actually going to be my motive. God knows that I can’t waste so much time on something that is not going to fetch me any money at this stage of my life
