Buying Food Vs Cooking Food?

Let’s forget about the fact that we may not have money for some minutes. I’m sure that if I begin to ask so many people if they prefer to buy food outside or cook food, they’d choose to buy food.

Cooking is a stressful activity for me but the only good part of it is that I cooked it myself and can trust what I cooked. Also, cooking is way cheaper than buying food but I still prefer to buy food when I have the money since I’m lazy to cook.

How about you? Do you prefer to buy food or cook at home?

I find it more practical and enjoyable to prepare my own meals. When I cook, I have full control over the ingredients and can make sure that my food is healthy and nutritious. Besides, it is an excellent way to unwind after a busy day.

During my younger years, I love eating fast food. Now, I prefer to eat slow food. It all started during the pandemic.

Though while I would love to buy food instead of cooking, Cooking is better when it comes to saving. The money you would use to buy a single plate in most restaurants is more than enough to cook something you can eat for two or three times.

I am not a good cook. I cook at home 4-5 days a week. For other days, I eat out or buy takeaway. Eating out with friends is one of my favorite social activities.
