I have not come across genuine free hoisting site. The one I was using in the past flooded my blog with their ads and logo. I don't enjoy privacy with the hoisted blog. That is why I stop it.

I don't know anything about their current policy. However, back in the day, their free hosting was completely free, They gave limited diskspace, bandwidth and had little downtime but it was completely free.

I have heard many great things about the namecheap platform. I have not tried it, but they seem like a really flexible and great platform to me. You may have the ability to use the drag and drop feature to create a website.
